Here’s everything that you will need to make your own Rose petal bath salt!
1) Dry 1-2 cups of rose petals
Dry out the roses, you can remove the petals from the stem and lay them out for 4 to 5 days on a towel.
2) Mix it
In a large bowl, combine the Epsom salt, Himalayan sea salt, and baking soda. Then, add in 4-8 drops of essential oil. More drops more frgarance.
3) Pulse it
Add the dried rose petals into a blender (or food processor). Set the blender to pulse and blend till the petals look like confetti.
4) Spa time
Once the petals are ready, pour them into the bowl and mix. Pour it into a glass jar with an airtight lid.
Light some candles, pick up a book or listen to our in-house therapy Spotify list. Pour some of your natural bath salts to the bath and transport yourself to your bespoke spa.

All you'll need is a few supplies from around your house and some blooms.
Newspaper; Blotting Paper; Flat cardboard; or Plain Facial Tissues to absorb moisture and aid drying. Your goal is to dry flowers as quickly as possible to prevent browning. Avoid paper towels with texture because that can get imprinted on the petals.
Pick flowers that have a single layer of petals like the pansy, echinacea. Eucalyptus and fern make for some amazing pressed leaves.
This is the easiest way to press flowers!
You can start by placing the flowers between two layers of absorbent paper, then placing heavy books on top.
OR
Place the flowers between the pages of the book itself. Some flowers might stain so add a layer of blotting paper between the page and the flower. Weigh down the top of the book with a brick or other heavy item.
Let the flowers dry for a week before checking on them. The process might take a couple of weeks.
Like the book method, start by pressing the flowers between two pieces of absorbent paper.
Heat iron to a low setting with no water. Remember, we are trying to get rid of the moisture.
Place the flowers between two sheets of absorbent paper and press the warm iron on top of the sheet of paper for 10 to 15 seconds. Just pressing. Repeat the process till the flowers look dry.
For the most part pressed flowers are able to maintain their natural color for a very long time, but eventually some amount of fading is inevitable.
Frame them, place them on greeting cards, or take your gift wrapping skills to the next level.
]]>Eucalyptus are evergreen plants that look gorgeous, smell delicious, and have so many benefits!
Fresh Eucalyptus lasts for about two weeks when they are properly cared for, but why not try and keep them for longer?
What you will need:
Start off by cutting branches to length and removing any dead leaves or stems. Trim the end of the branches, cutting at an angle.
For the preservation, you will need 2 parts of water, to 1 part vegetable glycerin. Bring the water to a boil and transfer to a jar. Combine the boiling water with the glycerin and stir until the glycerin has dissolved into the water.
Let the mixture cool down, and add the eucalyptus branches. Arrange the eucalyptus so that all the branches are in the water.
Store in a cool spot away from direct sunlight. The process can take a couple of weeks. Keep checking in to see if the branches need more solution.
Once it’s fully preserved, the leaves will look a bit darker but not brittle. Trim the ends and place them in a mason jar or hang them on the wall.
There are so many things you can do with preserved eucalyptus and we will list down some of our favorite projects.

The series is just what I was hoping for, light, colorful and fun floral battles! As per the Deadline, the materials will vary week-by-week, and participants will be encouraged to think about plants that give back to the environment – such as pollinating, insect-friendly species.
One team will be eliminated each episode until we're left with the first-ever winners of The Big Flower Fight. And what's the award? The winning team will have one of their creations on display at London's Royal Botanic Gardens! Oh, what a jaw-dropping sight would that be!

]]>Potpourri is basically a mixture of dried flowers and natural fragrance, and is used to provide a gentle natural scent or add an organic element to your decor.
Contrary to its fancy name, potpourri is quite easy to make.
You will need
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 200F (around 93C)
Step 2: Prep time!
Prepare the blooms by removing individual petals or separating the flower head form the stem. The beauty about potpourri is that you can use any flower you like! So you can make it with just one kind of flower (we love to use dried roses) or 5 different flowers. We like to incorporate a mixture of both whole heads and petals to give the potpourri a more visual interest. Cover a sheet pan with parchment paper and lay out your chosen flowers and petals in one layer.
Step 3: Oil it
Adding in essential oils can really take your potpourri to the next level. Good essential oils for making potpourri include rose geranium oil, lavender oil, bergamot oil, lemon oil etc.
In addition to essential oils, you can also adda layer of citrus-y or spice-y notes. Pop lemon slices, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, thyme, mint, pine cones etc.
Step 4: Bake Bake Bake!
Leave the sheet in the oven for two hours. The flowers and petals should feel brittle and hard and that’s how you know they’re ready! Make sure there is no moisture left in them.
Step 5: Make it pretty
And VOILA! The potpourri mixture will last around four weeks. To refresh the scent at any time, mix it up a bit and add in few drops of your favorite essential oil. We personally love lavender oil, you can add a few sprigs of dried lavender to your new concoction. Place the potpourri in tiny mason jars and use it as gorgeous and fragrant home decor. You can even use them as party or wedding favors.

Here I was thinking those exact lines again and again, and then it struck me, why shouldn't I go ahead and buy an armload of flowers for myself?
So, I went around looking for the freshest blooms in grocery stores, farmer's markets, and brick and mortar stores. Every week I got new flowers, arranged them myself, and placed them in a vase on my dining table. Now, the flowers were beautiful, but they all looked the same, every bunch I bought that week sat the same way in my vase and left me wanting a bit more. So, off I went again, and this time around, I started buying bunches of 3 from the grocery store (just because it was so close to where I live). I bought a bunch of lilies, then added foliage, and then bought a bunch of garden roses too to complete the look. It cost me an arm and a leg! Okay, this wasn't going to work if I was planning to replace the bunch every week.
My brain cells started to flicker - what if all the three individual bunches were shipped to me on the weekly? And, all I had to do was enjoy my 15 minutes of peace and just be present in the moment with my fragrant blooms. And that's how ladies and gentleman hand-tied came to life!
